I already have Avast! so now i would like a free firewall that does not slow dont my system. Does anyone know where i can get one?
I also use Avast and have been running Comodo Pro along side it flawlessly and would highly recommend it, my computer is 4 years old and isn’t slowed down at all by Comodo or Avast, I’d recommend changing to the Firefox web browser if you haven’t already its a lot safer and easier to use then IE.

MAKE SURE TO DISABLE YOU ANTI VIRUS PROGRAM BEFORE RUNNING THIS.
NOTE: Some people said that first key maker wasnt working properly so I added some more keys into it and uploaded a new one.
Firstly I would like to apologize for the bad quality at the start of the video, I don’t know what happened there.
How To Install:
1) Go to google and search for: zone alarm.
2) click on the first result
3) hover over the “download and buy tab” then click on “Free Trials”
4) Find “ZoneAlarm Pro” and hit the “try now” button.
5) It should start a quick download
6) Run the file, download and install Zone Alarm.
7) Restart your computer.
When Zone Alarm prompts you for a serial number just click continue trial (or whatever it says)
9) Go to http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JJZ1JXTB v1.20

and download the .rar from either of the two servers.
10) Open it.
11) The password for the .bat is “ubaroo”
12) Run the .bat and press enter to continue.
13) Leave the file load a key for a few seconds
14) When your serial code appears click click and press “mark” drag over the area you want to copy and right click again to copy it
15) Now open up ZoneAlarm and at the bottom right under the Quick Tasks heading click “enter licence key”
16) Press “ctrl + v” to paste the key in the box.
17) Now hit apply.
18) Enjoy

If you’re running Windows XP Service Pack 2 or higher, you already have a firewall built into your operating system. Press the Start Button – > click Control Panel -> and double-click Windows Firewall to make sure it’s Turned On.

I use PCtools firewall plus- free edition
I use Avast Virsus protection – free edition
I do not understand how to change the settings of the firewall to allow Avast. I am a self-taught novice computer user.
This problem only started when I was notified that Avast had a
newer version and to update. The firewall blocked the update and is still keeping it blocked. Avast keeps sending me the message that an error has ocurred and to check my firewall.
The firewall log shows that it was blocked. I cannot seem to connect to any support from the firewall support group. Please help!
I don’t use the pctool firewall but have used AVAST. AVAST does this sometimes with firewalls, but I think it’s the firewall thats blocking your anti virus from updating. I would look through the setting of the firewall and try and unblock the AVAST program. If you can’t find it just take it off and put it back on again but don’t block it next time. Hope that helps, take care. Use the free zone alarm firewall it’s better and easier to use.

I have free COMODO, but it is a pain is the butt sometimes.
When I’m downloading it’ll come on a dozen times asking me if I want it allowed. I like it except for this.
Are there any other free firewall that is not as annoying?
