Antivirus Firewall Software

I have been having difficulties implementing m0n0wall for my office firewall. Somehow it just does not want to recognize my internet and work with the adsl modem. My adsl modem uses pppoe to connect to the ISP and it will dial itself and govern the NAT settings. Do I miss anything? Is there any comparable or even better firewall software out there or which one is best?

Both are mostly the same, Ipcop has a lot of addons out there more than Smoothwall 3.0 (the one that I’m using at home). But smoothwall has kernel 2.6 with more and better hardware support.
